Our Story

Our Managing Director and owner, Sam Hamilton, has over 15 years of experience in the construction industry. His journey began in 2009 as a plasterer, where he gained expertise in both residential and commercial projects. In 2017, driven by his passion for building and construction, Sam pursued his dream by starting a carpentry apprenticeship. This dual expertise enables him to approach projects with a comprehensive understanding of construction and finishing techniques.

In 2020, Sam and his wife, Rochel, founded Hamilton Building and Construction. Initially focusing on small-scale projects, including carpentry, plastering, maintenance and subcontracting work, the business quickly grew due to its commitment to quality and client satisfaction.

Driven by vision to take on more extensive and complex renovations, Sam pursued further qualifications, obtaining a Certificate IV in Building and Construction in 2021. This additional accreditation has allowed him to lead a highly skilled team in delivering top-tier renovations that enhance a home's beauty, functionality, and value.
